The story of this winery goes back to the XX century, when Primitivo Gurpegui Muro, created the first winery in San Adrián (Navarra). His son, Luis Gurpegui Muga, took charge of the winery after his father´s death.

He expanded the winery where he produced Rioja wines and greatly increased sales in Rioja, Navarra, and Ribera del Guadiana wines. He started bottling different brands such as: Viñadrián, Gurpegui, Dominio de la Plana, Cinco Viñas, Rancho Viejo, etc.

The winery was bought in 2016 by Manzanos Enterprises, although the Gurpegui Muga family is still working with them. There are 12.500 barrels in this winery, to make great Crianza, Reserva and Gran Reserva Wines.
