WHAT IS MANZANOS WINES?
SINCE 1890
Manzanos Wines is the wine division of Manzanos Enterprises. It works on the elaboration of wine in appellation Rioja, Navarra and wines from Spain since 1890. Its history is linked to the memory of a family, its effort and their good practices. As a result, ten different wineries belong to this company, which have been built along five generations of this family.
The adquisition at the beginning of 2018 of the emblematic Rioja Brand Siglo and Vinícola Navarra winery and its brands Las Campanas and Castillo de Olite has been a major milestone in their winemaking history.
These purchases have helped Bodegas Manzanos consolidate its positioning in the top 10 of appellation Rioja and the top 3 of appellation Navarra.
The main activity of this company is the elaboration and commercialization of appellation Rioja, as their main wineries belong to this Qualified Denomination of Origin.
The wineries in which Manzanos elaborates its wines in this denomination are the following ones: Bodegas Manzanos Haro, Bodegas Manzanos Azagra, Viña Marichalar and Bodegas Luis Gurpegui Muga. This is possible thanks to the 950 hectares of vineyards.
The wineries where we elaborate appellation Navarra wines are our most recent purchase Bodegas Manzanos Campanas (before Vinícola Navarra, the oldest winery in appellation Navarra), Castillo de Enériz and Monte Ory wineries. Manzanos owns 250 hectares of vineyards in this appellation.
The wineries in which Wine from Spain is made, are: Bodegas Mosen Pierre, Bodegas El Lagar de la Aldea and Bodegas Gurpegui. Manzanos Wines owns 150 hectares.
THE VINEYARDS
After more than 125 years dedicated to the wine culture, Manzanos Wines has 950 hectares in the Rioja appellation. Together with the rest of hectares included in appellation Navarra and Wines from Spain, the company sums up a total of 1.525 hectares.

Our vineyards are distributed throughout different municipalities, it allows the exploitation of the different lands as well as the differences of each variety of grape.
This diversity also makes possible for Manzanos Wines’ wineries to create wines that show the potential and the features of each area, with a common identity that is easy to recognize.
