Dominios de Berceo is the most authentic expression of the best Rioja wine. This is true because these wines have been elaborated from the best grapes found in the whole appellation. They come from the most characteristic Rioja vineyards: prefiloxeric vines that are as strong as a tree, other ones planted in 1936 or the oldest pure graciano vines in Spain, all of them rooted in the best lands of Baños de Ebro and El Ciego municipalities. If one could officially say which is the best Rioja wine, it will surely be within the Dominios (meaning territory) of Berceo.

Bodegas Berceo were created in 1801 by the Muga Barahona family. The family built a small winery on a property they owned called the Santa Lucia Heras.

Gonzalo de Berceo is the most elegant and selected wine of the ranges elaborated in Bodegas Berceo, the winery named after this classic poet.

Siglo is the most emblematic brand of appellation Rioja. It is elaborated in Bodegas Manzanos, a winery with more than 127 years of winemaking tradition. Siglo is a symbol of Rioja, is one of the few brands that still preserves the traditional burgundy bottle. In its range Siglo Tempranillo stands out as it is worldwide recognized because of the sack that wraps its bottle. The sack is handmade by ASPRODEMA, an association of adults with learning disability.

In the XIII Century, a monk and poet named Gonzalo de Berceo lived in La Rioja, in the Monastery of Suso. At that time, the languages spoken in the area were the Arabic and the Basque. Back then, Latin was the only written idiom, hence, the only one considered cultured.

Gonzalo de Berceo was the first to dare to write the first lines in Spanish, in a religious poem that also made mention to wine.
Since then, he has been considered the father of our language and a very important link between our History and our wine culture. This is the reason the Monastery of Suso appears in all Berceo labels.

Bodegas Berceo was founded in 1872, being the oldest winery in the City of Haro, heart of the winemaking area of Rioja, and the only vertical-designed winery from that time that still remains operational.

Berceo Nueva Generación is the name of the range of Berceo wines created specifically to be found in hypermarkets and supermarkets. This new generation of wines was conceived thanks to the increasing demand of our clients of Berceo wine, that wanted to be able to bring home the wine and enjoy it not only when they went out and in their favorite restaurants, but also at any time and in any place.

Más de Manzanos is our special edition for home. This is a range conceived as a selection of our most representative wines so that we can enjoy them in our intimate moments too. It is not always about public celebrations, sometimes there is more of -meaning of “más de”- those that we want to keep at home and with the people who are part of it. Finca Manzanos is the brand that the fourth generation of the family Fernández de Manzanos created to name the first wines elaborated using the idea of gravity, meaning that we would use a different underground floor of our brand new château-style winery for every process. Our purpose was to offer a renewed style with unparalleled quality. The vineyards that we use are those surrounding the property where this winery, Bodegas Manzanos, is built. Finca Manzanos is still our best definition of what a Rioja wine is.
